MobileHelp Names New Director of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs in Preparation for Becoming a Medical Device Manufacturer

BOCA RATON, Fla.-- July 31, 2012 -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- MobileHelp, the leader in M-PERS (mobile-personal emergency response system) technology, today announced that Gary Becker has been named to the position of Director of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs. Mr. Becker will be responsible for building and maintaining MobileHelp’s Quality System and assuring compliance to the Medical Device regulations for FDA and ISO.

 

Mr. Becker has over 20 years of quality management experience with Imaging Diagnostic Systems, Emergin and Philips Healthcare. He previously served as Director of Software Product Development for Imaging Diagnostic Systems where he developed the company’s Software Design Control process as part of the overall Quality System. At Emergin, Mr. Becker served as Director of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs where he developed the company’s Quality System certified to ISO 13485 and ISO 9001.   He continued with Philips Healthcare (acquired Emergin) where he submitted a FDA 510K for the company’s Alarm Management System and registered the company as a medical device manufacturer.
